Grindcore can be funny and it is clearly so if entrusted to Birdflesh. Active since the faraway 1992 and hailing from Växjö, a small town in the south of Sweden, the sonic assault of these three maniacs is crushing and out of every given scheme, with nutter and ironic lyrics that are the icing on the cake. There’s nothing in this world like Birdflesh, and the only Italian show at Frantic Fest 2018 makes us very proud.
