Cleveland-based Midnight is a true Cult within the Metal/Punk underground, guided by the twisted muse of mainman Athenar with their own, highly addictive brand of early Black Metal, Thrash and Speed Metal. Since the very beginning in 2003 their production has been convulsive, building up a sizable catalog and garnering a rabid fanbase thanks to those early Splits and EPs that are still very popular among the band’s fanatics.
The debut album “Satanic Royalty”, released by Hell’s Headbangers in 2011, entered the band’s name into the annals of “classic”, followed up by “No Mercy For Mayhem” in 2014, further perfecting their signature sound and strenghtening their underground dominance. Now with the highly anticipated third album “Sweet Death And Ecstasy” Athenar and co. return with their darkest and most daring effort so far: yet another masterpiece of lust, filth, and sleaze.
