Their new album "Natural Extintions" explores the inability of human beings to preserve their innocence and bond with nature during their existence, and relating the inevitable destiny of every human being to inhibit, suppress and lose, along his life, some of the most pure and atavistic aspects of their own soul in order to adapt and live with the hostile environment that surrounds him. “Natural Extinctions” weaves these themes throughout to explore our lost innocence and repressed symbiosis with nature and each other. Cristiano and Chantal have been able to convey these pure emotions into music.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1564997340612{margin-top: 40px !important;border-top-width: 2px !important;border-right-width: 2px !important;border-bottom-width: 2px !important;border-left-width: 2px !important;padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;border-left-color: #046e8c...

GAEREA have turned the genre of Black Metal on its head, as shown on their first full length album "Unsettling Whispers", released in 2018 via Transcending Obscurity Records. While most rehash the classic sound, this Portuguese band take it forward and seamlessly integrate influences from other genres like Hardcore and Sludge. Sonically defiant and cohesive, Gaerea smash preconceived notions and deliver music they can call their own.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1564997785224{margin-top: 40px !important;border-top-width: 2px !important;border-right-width: 2px !important;border-bottom-width: 2px !important;border-left-width: 2px !important;padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left:...

Selvans is a prolific entity and its sodality with the groundbreaking Avantgarde Music, started in 2015 with the EP “Clangores Plenilunio”, boasts already 5 releases to this day. Starting from the archaic atmospheres of their first full length “Lupercalia”, going through the joint record with Downfall Of Nur and a live album, in their latest offering “Faunalia” the sound moves gradually towards most recent epochs, like in a slow journey between the musical seasons of our Country in a personal reinterpretation of Black Metal between hammond organs and prog-oriented cinematic synthesizers, acoustic passages and solemn choral and orchestral parts on which the genious of Morricone...

This vision have brought the band to the release of their first, very interesting work called “Belfry” that suddenly made a great impression, but it’s with the sophomore “Feast For Water” that things started to get really serious. Quoted among the best albums of 2018 by dozens of magazines, “Feast For Water” is a magnificent compendium of Heavy Rock, Doom, Dark Jazz, Goth Rock, Ambient and Psychedelia, due to a personal style made of dense atmospheres and entrancing melodies. After the announced appearances at great festivals such as Desertfest, Roadburn and Hellfest, we are extremely proud to finally...

SAOR

Since its formation in 2013, Saor has continually evolved while remaining boldly faithful to its Scottish heritage, with an expressive approach that dives deep into lyrical themes based on literature, landscapes, history, melancholy, nature and of course the majestic mountains of Scotland. Saor is a crossbreed of atmospheric Black Metal, Celtic Folk and traditional Scottish sounds, an unparalleled epic style in which fury and melody work together in perfect harmony under the same roof, increased by the use of violins and flutes that are the beating heart. But Saor has also become synonymous with gripping and emotional live performances, an aspect you are definitely going to...

MIDNIGHT

Since the very beginning in 2003 their production has been convulsive, building up a sizable catalog and garnering a rabid fanbase thanks to those early Splits and EPs that are still very popular among the band’s fanatics. The debut album “Satanic Royalty”, released by Hell’s Headbangers in 2011, entered the band’s name into the annals of “classic”, followed up by “No Mercy For Mayhem” in 2014, further perfecting their signature sound and strenghtening their underground dominance. Now with the highly anticipated third album “Sweet Death And Ecstasy” Athenar and co. return with their darkest and most daring effort so...

PRIMORDIAL

They represent an example of artistic and human coherence like no other, standing out in the prolific yet sometimes battered worldwide metal scene, following a simple rule: no compromise, not then, not now, not ever. Every Primordial album is an epic microcosm of grief, heroism and struggle that instantly quenches our thirst for solemnity, hardly disappointing their fans. Primordial are also known for their ferocious, legendary live prowess, led by one of the best frontmen heavy metal has to offer these days, the charismatic Alan Averill. We are so proud to have them at Frantic 2019, always bloodied yet unbowed![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1564998319759{margin-top: 40px !important;border-top-width: 2px !important;border-right-width: 2px !important;border-bottom-width: 2px !important;border-left-width: 2px...

VOIVOD

Throughout their long-lasting career they literally changed the face of Thrash Metal in the ‘80s, forged new Progressive Metal ground in the ‘90s, and kept up with fresh, inspired music in the 2000s until today, creating a style all their own and breaking every musical boundary possible. Voivod is one of the most transversal and influential bands of all time in metal and beyond, always able to cover a huge amount of stylistic ground with a weird and unique approach, building up a tenacious and loyal fanbase all over the world. Their spaceship has declared to be landing on Italian soil for an exclusive show at Frantic 2019.
